We would like to thank all our loyal customers for supporting a local upstart that tried to do something different. We loved hearing stories like the one below:
As I mentioned, this is a letter that I sent to The
Reporter, which was never printed. I just would like to thank you &
Rebecca for your valiant efforts in trying such a wonderful concept. I'm so
sorry that the economy & people in this area could not support it. There are
many like me who will sorely miss Vidalia Marketplace. I wish you luck in your
next endeavor.
I would like to congratulate Vidalia Marketplace on
their one year anniversary in the Lansdale community. I'm reminded of the part
that Vidalia has played in my life over the past year. Last summer, I
amazed my out-of-town guests with a White Chocolate Ribbon Cake from Vidalia's
bakery. In the fall, for my husbands birthday, the Seafood manager
special-ordered Australian cold-water lobster tails for me. She gladly
ordered a full case, even though I needed only four of them. Whenever I inquirer
about special or unusual vegetables, they will be there the next day.
Actually, I could say something wonderful about every department in the
store. But the very best thing is that in my everyday shopping, I find Vidalias
prices to be in line with the supermarket chains and I don't need to carry a
customer loyalty card. Vidalia has earned my loyalty through their excellent
quality & service.
So, congratulations & a heart-felt thank you to
the owners and employees of VidaliaMarketplace.
